The beautiful art of horses.

Ever since Cale Wasilchen was born, she’s had a huge passion for horses. Wasilchen has been riding horses ever since she could walk and hasn’t stopped.

With this passion, she has taken her love for horses to a new level. Her ultimate goal is to ride at the National FEI level, which is the highest level of riding possible for a contestant. Wasilchen is currently working hard and diligently to achieve her dreams and accomplish her goals.

Wasilchen is currently a member of CORE Butte FFA in California. Her long history with competitive riding started when she was just 6 years old. At that young age, she joined Pony Club and was eager to step into the ring from the beginning.

Since then, she has been to more than 100 horse shows throughout 10 years of riding competitively. Wasilchen competes in a variety of different competitive riding styles, including dressage, jumpers and hunter-jumpers.

Dressage is an equestrian event that demonstrates the rider’s ability to guide their horses through a series of complex movements. The horse and the rider must be in sync throughout the duration of the competition.

Jumpers is a timed event where the rider and horse must get through a course with barriers in which the horse must jump over as fast as they can. Hunter-Jumpers is the same idea as jumpers, but rather than a timed event, it’s judged based on the elegance of their form of how the horse and rider jump the barriers.

All of these events that Wasilchen has competed in have led her to her ultimate goal.

In pursuing her dream of riding at the FEI level, Wasilchen hopes she’ll be able to build up her name as an equestrian rider and showman.

When asked about her life with horses, she said, “I have lived and breathed horses my whole life. It has been a passion of mine for a long time, and it has helped me mold into the person I am today.”
