Michela Walker, 2016 National FFA Talent Competition winner, shares a few songs she plays on repeat. You can listen, too:
“I Was Here” by Beyoncé
“I’m convinced Beyoncé wrote this song just for me!” Walker says. “She describes the journey I’ve been on in my singing career and in my personal life. It was the song I performed during the last round of the National FFA Talent Competition, and I think it impacts the people listening.”
“Rise Up” by Andra Day
“This song will never go out of style,” says Walker. “Its message is universal, and it can be sung any place, any time. It’s such an inspiration to me. Andra truly uses her voice as an instrument.”

“Misbehavin’ ” by Pentatonix
“This is my favorite a cappella group,” she says. “This song came out the first year I tried out for the National FFA Talent Competition, and it encouraged me to be the best I can be.”
