AgExplorer will go live from Syngenta on Wednesday, Sept. 20, for a virtual field trip to meet the professionals working to solve one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century: feeding the globe’s growing population.
During this virtual field trip – Technology in Agriculture: Feeding the Growing Globe – students will get an inside look at Syngenta’s Research and Development Center in Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, N.C., to discover how the agriculture industry is using innovative science, research and technology to revolutionize the way crops are grown.
With one-on-one interviews with a variety of Syngenta professionals, students will explore how careers in analytics, agronomy, entomology and marketing are working together to help farmers around the world improve global production and sustainability.
