The 95th National FFA Convention & Expo Oct. 26-29 in Indianapolis has something for everybody, no matter your interests. To make the most of your trip, plan to engage in these five exciting experiences:
1. Expo and Shopping Mall
Browse the exhibits at the expo to learn from leading agriculture companies, colleges and universities. Looking for a souvenir? Stop by the FFA Mega Store or visit other vendors in the FFA Shopping Mall.
2. Leadership and Professional Development
Gather with other members and educators at a student, teacher or alumni workshop to sharpen your skills, learn with one another and hear from industry experts about today’s world of agriculture.
3. General Sessions
Attend one of many general sessions to convene with fellow members and celebrate one another’s accomplishments. Drop in on an opening session for motivation for the week ahead and to hear from a dynamic keynote speaker.
4. Volunteer Projects
Sign up to serve the local community through one of several National Days of Service shifts or stop by the On-Site Service Project booth on the expo floor. Members can also sign up for Courtesy Corps shifts and work behind the scenes with National FFA staff.
5. Finals Hall
The Finals Hall showcases the top competitors in seven career and leadership development events (CDEs/LDEs). Watching these leaders’ presentations gives viewers a glimpse of what an award-winning CDE or LDE looks like.
