Fifteen FFA chapters competing as finalists in the National Chapter Award Program just moved closer to learning if they will be awarded top honors at the 96th National FFA Convention and Expo this October.
National FFA announced the top 3 finalists, culled from a list of 45 chapters, in the categories of Models of Excellence, Middle School Models of Excellence and National Premier Chapter.
The 15 finalists are:

- Bartlesville FFA of Oklahoma
- Stillwater FFA of Oklahoma
Top 3 Middle School Model of Excellence
- Academy at the Farm FFA of Florida
- Rockford Middle School FFA of Minnesota
- Carroll County Middle School FFA of Virginia
Top 3 National Premier Chapter – Growing Leaders
- Douglas FFA of Alabama
- Beloit FFA of Kansas
- Bartlesville FFA of Oklahoma
Top 3 National Premier Chapter – Building Communities
- Beauregard FFA of Alabama
- Edmond FFA of Oklahoma
- Stillwater FFA of Oklahoma
Top 3 National Premier Chapter – Strengthening Agriculture
- Taylorville FFA of Illinois
- Bear Grass Charter FFA of North Carolina
- National Trail MVCTC FFA of Ohio
The National Chapter Award Program is designed to recognize FFA chapters that actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. These chapters improve chapter operations using the National Quality Chapter Standards and a Program of Activities that emphasize growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture. Chapters are rewarded for providing educational experiences for the entire membership.
