For 64 years, Ram Trucks has had a strong partnership with the National FFA Organization based on the historic connection between traditional American farming and Ram Trucks. A key foundation of the Ram/FFA partnership has been $1,000 Ram scholarships (funded by Ram Marketing) awarded annually in communities across the U.S. to FFA members via the National FFA Scholarship Program.
Benefits to Ram have included the opportunity to participate in local events, banquets, meetings, and school award assemblies, cultivating business for Ram Trucks. This opportunity also gives local Ram dealers a direct connection to this investment in their communities.
Last year, the National FFA Organization awarded $2.2 million overall in scholarships designed to fit the diversity of its applicants. Scholarships are sponsored by businesses like Ram Trucks and individuals through the National FFA Foundation and are given for a wide variety of experiences, career goals and higher education plans.
The selection process takes into account the whole student – FFA involvement, work experience, supervised agricultural experience (SAE), community service, leadership skills and academics. More than 1,800 scholarships are available.
