The safety and well-being of our stakeholders is the most important part of our mission, and the National FFA Organization maintains a strict no-tolerance policy regarding any type of abuse or harassment, especially when involving minors or vulnerable adults. We encourage any individual with concerns to immediately report them to the See Something Say Something hotline for prompt investigation. Individuals may also report to local, state, or federal law enforcement. In certain situations, a report may be required by applicable law. Note that in many states every individual is a mandatory reporter, not just those in specific roles.
This State Reporting Guide is offered only as a general educational resource for individuals seeking information on state-based mandatory reporting standards. While FFA periodically updates the Guide, it should not be relied upon for current information and does not constitute legal advice. Individuals seeking information regarding their reporting obligations should contact their local law enforcement agency or seek legal counsel. In addition, many states maintain 24-hour abuse reporting hotlines.
