Three New Members Named to National FFA Board of Directors
Indianapolis, Ind. (Monday, Dec. 16, 2024) – The National FFA Organization recently appointed three distinguished leaders to its National FFA Board of Directors. Their expertise, passion for agricultural education and commitment to youth development will enhance the organization’s mission of preparing the next generation of leaders in agriculture and beyond.
- CaSandra Carter, a senior human resources generalist at Syngenta, will represent business and industry on the board from 2025 to 2027.
- Jennifer Jackson, the executive director of Texas FFA and the Texas state advisor, will represent the National Association of Supervisors in Agricultural Education (NASAE) in the western region from 2025 to 2027.
- Paul Aarsvold, agriculture education instructor from Plainview-Elgin-Millville High School, will represent the agriculture, food and natural resources (AFNR) teachers for the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) and will serve from 2025-2027.
“We are excited to have these individuals serve on the board,” said National FFA Advisor and Board Chair Dr. Travis Park. “Each of these individuals brings a unique perspective from their areas of work, whether it be industry or the classroom. We look forward to their future contributions to guiding the National FFA Organization and helping FFA members prepare for a lifetime of career success.”
