At the 2025 National 4-H Ignite Conference in Washington, D.C., Kaden Ambers and Carmen Jackson brought their shared passion for agriculture and education to life through an interactive workshop focused on agricultural and financial literacy. Representing both Illinois FFA and 4-H, they co-facilitated a dynamic session designed to engage youth and educate students about urban communities.

Their workshop spotlighted urban agriculture and the importance of understanding personal and community economics. Through hands-on activities and real-world scenarios, participants explored how agricultural innovation, budgeting skills and entrepreneurship can work hand in hand to strengthen communities and promote sustainability.

Additionally, Jackson collaborated on a larger initiative to promote agricultural awareness among underserved youth. The initiative played a role in a national youth-led project that focused on bridging the gap between agriculture and communities of color by promoting access, education and opportunity.
