A Week of Celebration
National FFA Week is one of the most eventful — and rewarding — weeks of the year for FFA members!
Last year, Lebanon FFA hosted its first Teacher Appreciation Breakfast. Lebanon High School staff were invited to the agriculture rooms in the morning to enjoy a warm breakfast prepared by FFA members.

A Morning of Giving
On the Friday of FFA Week, Lebanon FFA members, officers and advisors woke early to make sure teachers knew just how much their hard work and dedication meant to each student. FFA members worked diligently to prepare a breakfast featuring all the morning classics — sausage links, fruit, and pancakes — which provided the perfect start to the school day. From stirring pancake batter to cooking sausage links, this event also created a special bonding experience for the FFA members. Once the food was ready, teachers and faculty were greeted with smiles, upbeat music and a warm atmosphere as they walked down the hallway.
Serving Together for a Stronger Community
“My favorite part was getting to school early and getting to work. A lot of the time, when we’re at school early for FFA, it’s for a competition where we’re focused on bettering ourselves. But with the breakfast, we showed up early for the benefit of someone else, and I love the feeling of making our staff feel appreciated,” chapter secretary Addison Hand said.
Blue Jackets and Breakfast
Dressed in their blue corduroy FFA jackets, members personally greeted each teacher, offering them a plate filled with warm, delicious food. Even after the bell rang to signal the start of the school day, the FFA members weren’t finished. A few stayed behind to refill trays and carts, delivering food to staff members who couldn’t make it to the breakfast.
Serving With Love
“My favorite part about the FFA Teacher Breakfast was being able to serve and show my appreciation for the teachers at our school, all while having fun with my friends,” FFA member Shelby Dimiceli said.
Continuing the Tradition
This National FFA Week, the Lebanon FFA Chapter is excited to continue this tradition and serve another warm meal for the faculty.
