About Natalie Reed

I’m Natalie Reed, and I’m from the CORE Butte FFA chapter in Chico California and I am thrilled to be a part of the FFA in the USA team. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a chapter officer, including roles as Chapter Reporter and Chapter Historian. I also represent the FFA on a national level as the National FFA Reporter. These positions have allowed me to hone my communication and organizational skills while contributing to the broader FFA community. My journey with FFA has been filled with notable achievements. I’ve been honored as a Star Greenhand and a Star Chapter Farmer, which reflect my dedication and hard work in agricultural practices. I’m also proud of my 5th place finish in the North Valley Level Impromptu Speaking Contest and my success as a finalist in various other competitions. My Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) involves raising market hogs for the county fair. This hands-on experience has been incredibly valuable in refining my skills in animal husbandry and management, and it’s taught me a lot about leadership and responsibility. In addition to my roles and achievements within FFA, I’ve developed skills in public speaking, writing, designing, art, and organization. I put these skills to use by starting and currently leading our chapter’s Community Service Committee. This role has been a fantastic opportunity to give back to the community and make a positive impact. FFA has given me so much more than just skills and awards—it’s provided me with a supportive family, lasting friendships, and a genuine passion for what I do. It’s helped me come out of my shell and grow into a confident leader. Looking to the future, I aspire to become a veterinarian, driven by my love for animal care and the agricultural field. Even if that path doesn’t work out, I’m committed to pursuing a career in agriculture. My experiences with FFA have shaped my goals and fueled my dedication to this field.
