About the Author: Jazmin Palma
I am a senior at Uwharrie Charter Academy High School in Asheboro, North Carolina. I am my Chapter's President and Secretary of the West Central Region. I was the chapter Reporter in my Sophomore and Junior year, and now am excited to share the stories of FFA members from across the state of NC while being an FFA in the USA Reporter. I love agriculture and want others to care and understand the importance of it as well.
Outside of the FFA, I love to play soccer and run cross country for my school. I also love to spend time with my poodle Maggie.
Through workshops, networking and more, the East Central Regional Leadership Conference in North Carolina taught FFA members how to be successful.
From trainings to events and activities, the 2024-25 North Carolina officer team spent their summer preparing for their upcoming year of service.
In North Carolina, this Millbrook FFA member's SAE includes working at the Atlantic Gardening Company and gaining horticulture experience.
