About Joleena Ibarra

Hello National FFA! My name is Joleena Ibarra, and I am currently a senior at Saint Jeanne De Lestonnac Catholic High School in Temecula, California. I have been a part of the FFA since my sophomore year, and I have been involved in many ways. I have competed in LDEs ever since I started, and one of my biggest accomplishments is winning State Champion for Extemporaneous Speaking in April 2024. I am really passionate about communications and agriculture, and my dream is to attend California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo to study agricultural communications and agricultural education, with the goal of becoming a high school teacher. I love the outdoors and anything related to art, especially music related. I have a passion for teaching and plan to pursue it however I can. Being selected as a 2024-2025 FFA USA reporter is an amazing opportunity, and I am incredibly grateful. I am so excited to share my knowledge and love for writing with National FFA!
