It’s official! The National FFA Board of Directors have approved this year’s class of American FFA Degree recipients – the FFA members who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to FFA and made significant accomplishments in their supervised agricultural experiences.
The 2017 American FFA Degree recipients – some 4,068 FFA members in all from 46 state associations – will be recognized on-stage at the 90th National Convention & Expo on October 28.

The American FFA Degree is awarded at the National FFA Convention & Expo each year to less than one percent of FFA members, making it one of the organization’s highest honors. Requirements to earn the honor are lengthy.
In addition to their degree certificate, each recipient receives a gold American FFA Degree key.
The top American FFA Degree recipients from each state may also be nominated for an American Star Award. Finalists for American Star Awards were announced in July.
The American FFA Degree and American Star Awards are sponsored by CASE IH, Elanco and Syngenta.
