The 75th Annual West Tennessee FFA Awards Banquet was a night full of recognizing the more than 4,000 members of West Tennessee FFA. More than 600 members, guests and agriculture industry professionals attended this event, which is held annually and is an opportunity for members to truly shine after all the hard work they put in. Members received awards for career development events (CDEs), leadership development events (LDEs), proficiency awards, regional star awards and many other award areas.
Regional Award Winners
The 2024-25 West Tennessee State Vice President Sarah Ault served as the Master of Ceremonies for this banquet. For the final time, the 2024-25 West Tennessee FFA Regional Officer Team opened the banquet with Opening Ceremonies.
The awards part of the banquet was quickly underway, as members and chapters were recognized as district winners and for being in the Top 6 in the region for each CDE and LDE. As the competition awards wound down, 45 members who were named regional winners in proficiency areas were awarded a $200 check from a sponsoring organization and a plaque.

Regional Star Winners
West Tennessee FFA went on to recognize its regional stars:
- Star Greenhand: Kaitlyn Mackling of the Munford FFA Chapter.
- Star Farmer: Blaire Lamon of the Paris FFA Chapter.
- Star in Agricultural Placement: Katie Jane Crook of the Crockett County FFA Chapter.
- Star in Agribusiness: Hunter Sims of the Scotts Hill FFA Chapter.
- Star in Agriscience: Dakota Ables of the Paris FFA Chapter.
Tennessee Association of Agricultural Educators (TAAE) Awards
West Tennessee FFA agricultural educators were then recognized for their hard work and dedication to agricultural education:
- Jerry Johnson of the Covington FFA Chapter was recognized with the Teacher Mentor Award.
- Beca Breckenridge of the Brighton FFA Chapter was recognized with the Teacher Turn the Key Award.
- Liz Flanagan of the Covington FFA Chapter was recognized with the Outstanding Service Award.
- Terri Lea of the Brighton FFA Chapter was recognized as the Outstanding Agriculture Educator.
- Harvey Witherington was recognized with the Visionary Impact Award.
- Madison Edgin of the Scotts Hill FFA Chapter was recognized with the Outstanding Early Career Award.

Chapter Awards
There were a few more awards to hand out before the night concluded.
- The 2024-25 West Tennessee FFA Most Improved Chapter was Hollow-Rock Bruceton FFA.
- The Outstanding Single Teacher Program was awarded to Bradford FFA. Caitlyn Garton is the advisor.
The part of the night everyone looks forward to is the Championship Cups. West Tennessee FFA Chapters work hard all year to contend for the cup awards. This year, the Championship Cup went to the Munford FFA Chapter.

2025-26 West Tennessee FFA Regional Officers
To close the night, the 2025-26 West Tennessee FFA Regional Officer Team was installed. This officer team consists of:
- President: Ann Thomas Lowery from Dyersburg.
- Vice President: Carson Osteen from Haywood County.
- Secretary: Baylea Walton from Covington.
- Treasurer: Olivia Garner from Westview.
- Reporter: Cori Hopkins from Paris.
- Sentinel: Lilly Powers from Scotts Hill.
This newly installed regional officer team is more than excited for the year ahead of leading West Tennessee FFA.
