Impact FFA: Women Growing Women is an initiative dedicated to growing the next generation of female leaders who will join others to feed, fuel, clothe and sustain the world.

Why Impact FFA?
Research indicates women are pursuing careers in agriculture and natural resources in increasing numbers, but they continue to be underrepresented in leadership in nearly every facet of the industry.
- Thirty-six percent of farms in the United States are led by women.
- Women lead only 26% of state departments of agriculture in the United States.
- Women in agribusiness hold only 23% of management positions.
- Women hold only 10% of leadership roles in agriculture colleges at land-grant universities.
At National FFA, we feel it is our responsibility to better prepare female members to become the leaders the industry needs. To do this, we will be reviewing demographic FFA participation data and analyzing gaps that may be preventing girls from being adequately prepared to enter the industry. We will then work to evolve our programs and improve access to help girls prepare to reach the highest levels of achievement beyond the high school classroom.

Impact FFA Mentoring Program
National FFA is launching a small pilot program to connect young FFA Alumni with female professionals. If you are interested in serving as a mentee or mentor, email mentoring@ffa.org for more information.
How You Can Help
Your contribution to Impact FFA will open doors for female FFA members to experience national-level programs that encourage career and leadership development. By helping cover the travel and registration fees associated with National FFA events, you will help members investigate careers, connect with industry experts, grow as leaders, and compete in national events.
