Update March 29: Noah appeared on the show again during Hollywood Week! Check out his performance – and a brief look at his goats back home in Arkansas!

Original Post:

More than 10 million people tuned into ABC’s American Idol Sunday night March 11 and saw FFA member Noah Davis win over the hearts of judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie with his successful audition.

Davis, from the Lake Hamilton FFA Chapter in Arkansas and now a student at Arkansas Tech University, won the 2017 National FFA Talent Competition with his jaw-dropping version of Rihanna’s “Stay” – the same song Davis wowed with during Sunday night’s telecast. He earned the elusive “golden ticket” from the show’s judges that allows him to continue competing in the music competition.

Davis’ performance made headlines – and so did his light-hearted interaction with Bryan, Perry and Richie.

Noah, meanwhile, immediately wins them over with his sparkling personality, and really blows them away once he sits down at the piano and begins a soulful rendition of “Stay” by Rihanna. In the words of Perry: “Wig: snatched!”

Way to go, Noah! We’ll see you in Hollywood – and we hope you get your alpaca.
